Easter with our crew!

Joy in Obedience.

When Chris and I first started pursing our ministry in Rome, I think the most terrifying task before us was the idea of finding partners to be part of our ministry. Here we are though, just past another whirlwind trip packed with meetings, and I can’t help but think of how much I have grown to enjoy them! It’s been a joy to sit in people living rooms, coffee shops, Chick-Fil-A’s and even Skyping into people’s homes to share about the amazing opportunities in Rome, and how we all can be part of what the Lord is doing there! We’ve enjoyed getting to catch up with old friends, and meeting new people. My favorite thing though is when you can evidently see how God has been working, not just in our lives, but in others. We had the privilege this evening of meeting with a now wonderful partner. Over the past year, she had felt the Lord calling her to missions, and had been praying about how she can be part of His Great Commission to reach all the nations. A few Sundays ago after hearing us speak about reaching the transient people that are currently in Rome, she felt like she finally had an answer on how she can participate in missions right now! Stories like this are what have really excited Chris and me, because we have continued to see how the Lord is providing for His ministry. If you haven’t been praying about how the Lord can use you personally in missions, don’t wait! Start today!

What’s New?

In May, Chris will be going to Rome to help lead a church retreat. It will a great time to continue getting to know the members at Rome International Church. Retreats are always beneficial in the life of a church. It’s a time to rest together as a body of believers, and as we step away from the busyness of daily life, it allows us to connect on a deeper level with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
